The other arm of the Dresden Dolls duo has gone solo. She describes her music as a Brechtian Punk Cabaret. Suits me well. Her solo album, "Who Killed Amanda Palmer..." is quite interesting. Also, I think she has made a music video for every song of her album! Hottest woman of... rock?!LINK Btw, this list is doing a lot for me... Is there anything as hot as a rock chick?! However, her newest video, LEEDS UNITED, has brought some issues concerning her weight!? LINK
Though, listening to the song the first thing that caught my ear was the name, Leeds United. Why? I think the question she is asking herself is why hooligans are acting violently when attending sports and she´s probably using Leeds because their hooligans are named for violent behavior. I think the video supports my theory.

She is playing in NYC on the 1st of January 2009 at 02:00 AM !!!
That means (if we´ll go to NYC on the 28th of dec), we could start the last evening of the year with Crystal Castles and then move towards the Bowery Ballroom to witness Amanda´s Dark Cabaret performance on the first day of the new year. That would be EXTRAORDINARY at least!
