A veil awave upon the waves, Icelandairwaves?

Finally we have a confirmation date for the start of ticket sales for Reykjavik´s, Icelandairwaves. A nice support from the city and Icelandair was gladly appreciated by the planners of the festival which was almost canceled due to a simple business formula (who runs business on formulas?!, you should run business with your guts!) Tis the twelfth of September. The line up this year is, as usual, has a nice portion of my play list last year. Let´s take a quick look at a couple of our performers this year:

Crystal Castles: This Canadian duo from deep inside West West Queen Street in Toronto has become a regular to this blog. So let´s not stop the hype, and hopefully Mrs.CC will not attempt to climb on top of the speakers at, most likely, Nasa, like she did at Glastonbury causing a 1/3 of their playing time cutting short. However, there is always something sexy when female singers loose it on stage.



Crystal Castles - Xxzxcxz me Toronto,Canada.

Cansei de ser Sexy: Following their self-titled debut from 2006 I am afraid they will run fast into the wilds of Amazon rain forest when the reviews for the second album, Donkey, comes out. I believe their hype was a bit too much in 2006 and people are now expecting to much from those nice Brazilians. Hopefully they will have a supporting DJ who remixes them on the spot here in Reykjavik, only then I am off to their gig, otherwise I think some other acts will pull my hat towards it.
