The most common human learning process is imitation; one's personal repetition of an observed behaviour, such as a dance. Humans can copy three types of information simultanesouly: the demonstrators goals, actions and environmental outcomes (results, see Emulation (observational learning)). Through copying these types of information repeateatly, (most) clubbers will tune into their surrounding dance culture.

Polaroid/Roman/Photo taken from album Polaroid/Roman/Photo, which originally has been released in 1985 and re-mastered in September, 2008 at Infrastition label. Polaroid/Roman/Photo is an interesting work that combine such styles as electronica and synthpop with a feature of very untraditional for these genres music instruments - trumpet, flute and violin. But Croatian taxi drivers have found their way out of this harsh environment after these subtitles came available. They´ve gone global! But surely not legal. Since illegal taxicab operation is generally seen as a victimless crime although it may affect the economic value of licensed taxis and safety(!!!) regulations may be bypassed. Both the drivers and passengers of illegal cabs are taking this risk (you can of course downgrade the risk factor by the obvious thing, hat up). However, passengers sometimes find illegal cabs to be more available, convenient, or economical than licensed ones. Unlicensed cabs are also found among the Amish of rural Pennsylvania. Old Order Amish do not drive, but will hire a van or taxi for trips for which they cannot use their traditional horse and buggy transportation. And what is never missing on an amish persons? Yes, a hat.

Hallucinogenic drugs were tested on a wide range of animal species in the 20th century; scientists extensively explored animals' physiological and behavioral reactions to LSD in particular. Under the influence of LSD, cats, for example, reportedly lose their fear of dogs, bat at the air, and salivate excessively. One LSD-affected baboon or chimpanzee in a group of unaffected animals creates havoc by disregarding the hierarchies of the group. LSD induces lethargy in hornets.5 Dolphins become docile and regularize their vocal output at a steady cycle.6 This last effect may be connected to the finding that affected rats climb a hanging rope at predictable intervals where unaffected rats spontaneously climb.7 In their study of goats on LSD, Werner P. Koella, Roger F. Beaulieu, and John R. Bergen found that drugged goats walk in predictable geometric patterns, including squares, figure-L's, and figure-8's. A goat repeatedly induced will always be inclined toward the same pattern.8

The New Gay Zack: Your band makes songs that could be considered stoner music. How do you feel about this?

Brian Weitz of Animal Collective: The way people listen to my music is up to them, if they're enjoying it that way, good for them. It can be a bummer to be labeled as a drug band, if we become associated with that people think we're on a lot more drugs than we actually are. When you get stuck with that label it bums my parents out. I hope my music appeals to people that aren't on drugs as well.

The New Gay Zack: Pardon me for asking, but what are or were your favorite bands to get high to?

Brian Weitz of Animal Collective I was a very together kid, I wasn't a total burnout, I got into a decent college [Columbia] and got good grades and everything. But we were really into Pink Floyd, The Dead, Pavement, Sun City Girls, Silver Apples, and a lot of European psychedelic music from the late sixties and early seventies

How silly. Maybe next they should identify which aspects of their appearance they can realistically change and which they can’t. Everyone (even the celeb) has things about themselves that they change — like their hair, for example, or their hat size.

-- Do you have glandular problem? --

If there are things about yourself that you want to change, do this by making goals for yourself. For example, if you want to get fit, make a plan to visit your friend every day and use the many nice chemicals instead of cookies.

 Then keep track of your progress until you reach your goal. Meeting a challenge you set for yourself is a great way to boost self-esteem!

Assassinations, frauds, tax dodging, thieving, money-laundering, match-fixing, organised crime controlling the game – that’s everyday life in some clubs and leagues.


Željko "Arkan" Ražnatović (above), in front of his Serb paramilitary group, the Serb Volunteer Guard ("Arkan's Tigers").
Arkan returned to his interests in sport and private business. The Serb Volunteer Guard was officially disbanded in April 1996 with the threat to be reactivated in case of war emergency. In June of that year he took over a second division soccer team FK Obilić which he soon turned into a top caliber club, even winning the 1997/98 Yugoslav league championship. According to a book by Franklin Foer, "How Football Explains the World: An Unlikely Theory of Globalization", Arkan threatened players on opposing teams if they scored against Obilić.

This threat was underlined by the thousands of veterans from his army that filled their home field, chanting threats, and on occasion pointing pistols at opposition players during matches. One player told the British football magazine FourFourTwo that he was locked in a garage when his team played Obilić. Europe's football governing body, UEFA, considered prohibiting Obilić from participation in continental competitions because of its connections to Arkan. In response to this, Arkan stepped away from the position of president and gave his seat to his wife Ceca. Arkan was also a chairman of the Yugoslav Kick-boxing Association.

Another club much loved by the Bulgarian funeral industry is Lokomotiv of Plovdiv. Former wrestler George Kalapatirov (below) got control of the club – but not for long. A bullet in the heart ended his reign and George Prodanov took over. When the cops extracted the remains of this George from his car they found the brake hoses had been severed.

Arriving in Zakarpattya, Ukraine:

Two clubs in Ukraine have been labelled ‘headquarters for organized crime gangs’ by police. When the cops raided the Zakarpattya club’s offices they arrested 36 armed men – who explained they were preparing for an election meeting. The police admitted that another 150 gunmen got away.
All was quiet for three years - then the gunfire resumed. Another director took a single hit from a Kalashnikov. Seven remarkable death-free years followed and then 2005 saw three more directors exit without time to pay off their guards.
